Abstract: The second half of 1960s saw intense activities by various research groups on the development of corrugated horns (popularly known as ‘scalar horns’). This presentation aims to put on record, as a piece of history, the contributions of Pradip Kumar Saha on corrugated circular waveguides and wide-flare corrugated conical horns, while he was pursuing his doctoral research during late ’60s under the supervision of Prof. P. J. B. Clarricoats in Queen Mary College, London.
